Document scanning (digitization / digitalization) is the process by which paper documents are imaged (scanned) using document scanners and saved as digital images. These digital images can be non-editable formats (pdf, tiff, jpeg, etc.) or searchable formats (searchable pdf) using optical character recognition (OCR) software. At Tecres Technologies, our proposed approach involves collation, scanning, indexing, reorganization and migration of scanned documents.
We use 5-ply archive boxes with unique self-locking base that is reinforced to retain shape and protection for documents over a long period of time. We must understand, that documents are alive and therefore, the need to use 5-ply boxes and not plastic containers.

We have and use different types of scanners from low end HP Scanjet ADF scanners, Fujitsu departmental scanners and Kodak production scanners. We also have overhead book scanners and large format A0 documents scanners. The Automatic Document Feeders (ADF) scanners scans between 60 to 200 pages per minute.
